Shelter-in-Place @12:30 on 1/8/2015

At approximately 12:30 pm today, the State Police notified me (Dr. Campisi), that an armed robbery had taken place in the Hainesport Vicinity (but not in Hainesport).  However, the subsequent car chase that ensued occurred on Hainesport-Mt. Laurel Road.  As a precautionary measure, we called a Shelter-in-Place, which means that no one enters or leaves the building, but the school day continues as it normally would (i.e. instruction continues, classes change, etc...).
At approximately 12:52 pm, I was alerted by the State Police that the suspects were now significantly away from the Hainesport area (at that time, about 15-16 miles south).  At that point, we lifted the Shelter-in-Place.  The rest of the school day will continue as usual including bus transportation.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, and/or clarifications.
Please understand, your children's safety is paramount to us.
Very Truly Yours,
Dr. Joseph Campisi
