On or about Monday March 23rd, 2015; Marne Highway (CR 537) will be closed at Mason’s Creek for bridge construction by ConRail, effectively closing the intersection of Marne Hwy, Creek Rd. and Rancocas Blvd. ConRail is rehabilitating the existing multi-span bridge that carries the rail line across Mason’s Creek. The railroad tracks run parallel to Marne Highway at this location; which requires the closure of this portion of CR 537 during their construction. Marne Highway will be closed to through traffic between Ark Road (CR 674) and Hainesport - Mt. Laurel Road (CR 674).
A detour route will be posted for this closure. The proposed detour route uses Hainesport – Mt. Laurel Road (CR 674) to Rt. 38 to Ark Road (CR 634); which is approximately 3 miles long. Traffic on Creek Road (CR 636) heading southeast from Rt. 295 will be detoured onto Masonville - Centerton Rd. and should then follow the posted detour route.
Current bus routes running to this area through the signalized intersection of Creek Rd, Rancocas Blvd, and Marne Hwy will be temporarily affected; and you will need to adjust them accordingly:
Below is a link to a detour map as a reference. The details of the road closure are as follows:
In total, the entire construction project will take approximately 9 weeks to complete. For the weeks in between the two closures, 2 lanes of through traffic will be maintained through the construction zone.
