  • Home Energy Assistance-LIHEAP is a federally funded program established to assist households with heating, cooling, and energy costs.
 
  • NJ SHARES administers an energy assistance program that may be able to help you with your energy bills.
 
 
  • The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs' (DCA) Division of Housing and Community Resources (DHCR) created a new user-friendly Eligibility Screening Tool designed to help New Jersey residents find available housing-related assistance programs for which they may qualify at DCA.

    • Open every Friday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM for families in need.
    • School Age Children: Prepackaged take-home breakfast and lunch
      • When: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
      • What to Bring: Parents bring ID for themselves and medical cards for children.
 
 
  • Family Support Organization of Burlington County
    • Food pantry.
    • WAWA is donating frozen food items for distribution to families in need.
    • Where: 1632 Rt. 38 East, Lumberton, NJ 08048
    • When: Pickup for families is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 
      • Call for availability and to schedule a pickup.
      • Upon arrival for pickup, remain in your car and call 609-265-8838.

  • Child care availability for essential employees in New Jersey: Parents/guardians in need of child care can contact the Child Care Resource and Referral Agency in their county.  Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies will have the most up-to-date information on available care options and subsidies.

  • Family Support Organization of Burlington County: Family Support Organization of Burlington County is a private, non-profit organization and an independent partner in New Jersey's Department of Children and Families System of Care.  Services include peer support, education, and advocacy for families raising children having behavioral, emotional, mental health, developmental disabilities, substance use disorder, and/or juvenile justice involvement.
 
  • New Jersey Health Behavior Access Line: New Jersey Health Behavior Access Line provides families with a virtual single point of contact that registers, tracks, and coordinates care for children who are screened, at any level, into its Children's System of Care.  To provide this simplified access, the Division of Children and Families contracts with PerformCare, which is a private entity that administers this service system.  For questions about, or to access services for children and youth, call the 24-hour, toll-free Access Line.  Contact New Jersey Health Behavior Access Line at 1-877-652-7624.
 
 
  • SCIP Mobile Outreach: Mobile Outreach Services are an extension of the Screening Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP).  Mobile Outreach provides crisis evaluations to Burlington County residents at the crisis site.  This service is conducted by a New Jersey State Certified Screener.  Any person who is in Burlington County and is experiencing a psychiatric crisis, or poses a danger to self, others, or property, can request a mobile outreach at 609-835-6180.  The hotline is operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
 
  • 2NDFLOOR Youth Helpline: 2NDFLOOR is a confidential and anonymous helpline for New Jersey's youth and young adults. If you are between the age of 10 and 24, live in New Jersey, and need to talk about an issue or a problem that you are facing, call 2NDFLOOR at (888) 222-2228.
 
  • Family Helpline: If you are feeling stressed, call to speak to a trained volunteer of Parents Anonymous who can provide and refer you to resources in your community.  Call the 24 hour hotline at 1-800-843-5437.
 
  • CONTACT of Burlington County: CONTACT of Burlington County's vision is to reduce suffering within our community by helping those in need to address emotional, physical, and mental issues more effectively.  If you are in crisis and need immediate assistance, call the helplines at 856-234-8888 or 866-234-5006.
 
  • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.  Call the 24/7 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
